Music LA: Rockin' the 'Hood

Registration is coming up for Music LA's "Rockin' the 'Hood." All levels and ages are invited to participate in 8 weeks of classes (held Tuesday and Saturday afternoons) to learn fundamentals of rock, jazz and down-to-the-basics classical. All instruments are welcome! $20 tuition required.
Summer Schedule:
Tuesdays July 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, August 4th, 11th, 18th
3:00-4:30 Guitar Class
3:00-4:30 Woodwinds, Keyboard, Voice
4:45-6:15 Percussion
6:30-8:00 Strings

Saturdays July 11th, 18th, 25th, August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd
3:00-4:30 All Ensembles for Rockin’ the Hood Orchestra!

Concert
Tuesday, August 25th, 2009
2:00-5:00 Rehearsal
6:00pm Final Performance. Tell Friends and Family!

Teachers In Training

Patrick Courtney, a teen alumnus and longtime scholarship recipient of the Neighborhood Music School, has given back to the community by providing free one-on-one piano lessons.
